Q&A
Yes, after completing the full program (Diploma or Master’s), you can start your own Christian counseling practice and provide psychological support to clients. This may take the form of paid private practice, volunteering, or ministry in the church. The program materials equip you with basic counseling skills, a foundational understanding of human mental processes, orientation in key approaches, and the ability to develop principles of complementarity between Christianity and psychological practice.
At present, the REALIS Center does not issue state-recognized diplomas, yet we operate according to international standards of educational quality within the framework of the Bologna system. Our programs comply with international standards in terms of credit load, study formats, and quality of instruction.
For attending individual courses (certificate) or a “Diploma” program, prior psychological education is not required. For admission to the “Master’s” program, a completed higher education degree is required.
The approximate cost of involving REALIS therapists and supervisors in a student’s practical training is 30,000 UAH. Most of this cost is covered through grant funding; however, this is determined on an individual basis.
