“What do you remember OR-4 group of students for?”

“This class of VESOR was a rare and select group of high-energy professionals, extremely talented and committed to intercultural training for building the kingdom of God through His Church. Most of all, I remember these wonderful people as my friends who have challenged me and have been willing to be challenged to make a difference for Christ in their calling. They will forever be in my heart”.

Dennis Hollinger

Dr., President of Evangelical Theological Seminary, Professor of Christian Ethics.

“What do you remember ОR-4 group of students for?”

“It was my privilege to teach “Christian Ethics in a Multi-Cultural Context” in March of 2006. This was my fourth opportunity to teach in the program, and once again I was impressed with the deep spiritual commitment of the students. They have a heart for God and a desire to make an impact for Christ’s kingdom. I also was pleased with the way these students interacted with the cultural issues of the day. They came to see the importance of connecting Word and World as faithful ministers and servants of the gospel. I pray that God will continue to enable them as they grow in grace, wisdom, love for God and love for others”.

“What do you remember OR-4 group of students for?”

“On our final evening in Israel, I will always remember the ceremony, when each of you articulated what you are going to leave behind and I so clearly remember those words of blessing that we prayed over you and the things that we asked God to give you. Dianna and I will always remember you”.

Don Fairbairn

Dr., Professor of historical theology at Erskine Theological Seminary, South Carolina, USA. Part-time professor of historical theology at Evangelische Theologische Faculteit, Leuven, Belgium.

“What do you remember OR-4 group of students for?”

“I remember the students as being very eager to learn and to apply what they were learning to their ministries. I was impressed by their willingness to set aside pre-conceived prejudices against the Orthodox and to consider the possibility that some (or many) Orthodox are genuine Christians. I was pleased that they were willing to learn from the best of Orthodoxy, and also careful to recognize the ways in which Orthodoxy has departed from Scripture. I was also impressed by their creativity as they explored ways to minister in an Orthodox environment”.
