Merry Christmas!

«Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men!» (Lk 2:14)

We’re accustomed to the solemn, mysterious chords of this hymn, sung first by the angels and now at Christmas services the world over. But when we take a closer look at the original translation of this Christmas song, it sounds more like a tweet from a journalist with connections to people in "high places":

"There is no one who is higher and more glorious than God.
And the great God loves people, giving peace on earth!"

"Theory and Foundations of Counseling: With Special Focus on Stress and Trauma" course

“Christian leaders have the responsibility, and the privilege, of coming alongside those sheep in God’s flock who are struggling. Sometimes the problems that come to pastors or chaplains seem almost overwhelming. Can we as leaders learn better skills in helping people who are suffering from the tragedies of life, who are painfully grieving the loss of loved ones, who are not recovering from trauma? Yes, we can”, - James R. Beck

The "Realis" Christian Center together with the Center for Religious Studies of the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University are beginning a new course: "Theory and Foundations of Counseling: With Special Focus on Stress and Trauma"
